Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos received the Spanish Ambassador to Greece, Alfonso Lucini Mateo, in a courtesy meeting today. During the meeting, which took place in a warm climate, they discussed the latest developments within the framework of the European Union’s efforts to confront the crisis in Europe and the potential that exists for cooperation amongst the countries of Southern Europe.
They also looked at ways to revitalize and strengthen Greek-Spanish bilateral relations, as well as at regional developments in the Middle East and North Africa.
