Dimitris Avramopoulos meets the President of the Italian Republic at the Quirinal Palace, 6/11/2026

 

 

Dimitris Avramopoulos met today in Rome with the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, at the Quirinal Palace.

The meeting took place in the framework of the high-level conference organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, of which Mr Avramopoulos is a member.

Following the meeting, Mr Avramopoulos expressed his high regard for the Italian President, highlighting his distinguished political career, personal integrity and international standing, as well as his contribution to safeguarding Italy’s institutional stability and national unity.

Mr Avramopoulos described Sergio Mattarella as a leader distinguished by his wisdom, moderation and commitment to democratic values.
