Dimitris Avramopoulos’ mission in the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity is marked by a constant effort to found a new Social State, free from the structural inadequacies of the past, its fragmented character and its unruly expansion.

In other words a social state, which will give a special emphasis to individualized services, based on the reasonable and the efficient management of the public resources. Medical prevention of diseases becomes one of the most important factors for the protection of public health.
