The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos, as soon as he was informed on the earthquake in the region of Amfiklia, he asked from the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff the allocation of personnel and means by the Combat Support Division which is nearby, should any need arise, in cooperation with the regional administration and local authorities.
