I hope that today finally we shall find common ground on solidarity.
It is the moment for all of us to interpret this term in the same way. It is absolutely necessary.
We also need solidarity in the field of security. Today we are going to make a step forward in enhancing and deepening more our cooperation, in exchanging information, in connecting all dots and bringing together, interconnecting our intelligence systems.
Very important in order to address security in the name of all our citizens.
I hope that at the end of the day all together, in a spirit of cordiality and partnership, we are going to make an important step forward.
[For] More than one year we have repeatedly discussed about solidarity. This is the moment to move forward together.
Of course we are not where we were one and a half years ago, a lot of progress has been made, but we are not there yet. We must respond in a very concrete and reliable way to the needs of our citizens in terms of bettering the management of migration, bettering the management of our common European border and ensuring more safety for our citizens.
