The Minister of National Defence, Dimitris Avramopoulos will declare tomorrow, Thursday December 5 2013, the official opening of the works of the “Research and Technology 2013” Conference, which is co-organised by the European Defence Agency and the Ministry of National Defence.
Afterwards, the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA) Claude-France Arnould will meet with Mr. Avramopoulos at the Ministry of National Defence, at 12:15 tomorrow.
The aim of the Conference is to highlight critical technologies in Defence and to explore the field of innovation, cutting-edge technologies and dual use technologies that will promote future European defence capabilities, matters also in the agenda of the Ministry of National Defence for the Greek Presidency of the EU Council.
The works of the conference will be held in the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers Club in Athens, on December 5 and 6 2013.
