After the completion of the military exercise “INIOHOS 2014”, the Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos addressed the following message to the participants:
After the completion of the big “INIOHOS 2014” exercise, I would like to express my warmest thanks to the leadership of the Armed Forces and all those who contributed to its, absolutely successful, execution.
This exercise brought out the joint capabilities of the Armed Forces, the excellent coordination in operations and the absolute precision in achieving their goals.
The national defence system is at the highest level of operational readiness and fully responds to its mission.
Our country is safe and the Greek people can feel sure that its sacrifices have paid off.
The Armed Forces guarantee the country’s integrity and, with their efficiency, their excellent infrastructure and modern equipment, are always put at the service of peace, security and stability.
Along with my congratulations and the State’s praise to everyone who participated in this joint exercise, I would like to extend to all the Armed Forces’ personnel and to their families my best wishes for Easter.
