The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos represented the government at the Doxology for New Year’s Day which was celebrated at the church of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite.
After the completion of the doxology, Mr. Avramopoulos made the following statement:
“Many happy returns. Happy New Year filled with health, above anything else, for all of us, endurance, vigour and optimism.
The hard times gradually go by. A new era rises on Greeks being united, strong and decided for a better future”.
