The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos received today in his office a delegation from the Ministry of Iraq, headed by the Ministry’s Secretary General, General Mohan Hafith Fahad Al Frage, with whom he discussed matters of know-how provided by the Greek side for the organisation of the Iraqi Armed Forces. The Iraqi delegation is visiting our country following an invitation extended by the Ministry of National Defence.
The General Mohan Hafith Fahad Al Frage conveyed to the Minister of National defence a message by the Minister of Defence of Iraq Saadoun Al-Dulaimy, as well as his congratulations on account of the his new duties. Mr. Avramopoulos thanked him and asked him to extend an invitation to Mr. Al-Dulaimy to visit Athens.
The meeting was also attended by the Alternate Minister of National Defence Fofi Gennimata and the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Mihail Kostarakos.
