The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos met today in his office at the MOD with the Ambassador of Israel to Greece Mr. Arye Mekel.
During their meeting, Mr. Avramopoulos discussed with the Israeli Ambassador matters of mutual interest, pertaining to the Ministry of National Defence, as well as matters relating to Greek-Israeli relations.
Mr. Mekel delivered to the Greek Minister of National Defence an official invitation to visit the country, extended by the Israeli Defence Minister Mr. Moshe Ya’alon. The exact date of the visit will be communicated through the diplomatic channel.
