Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos met today with the German Ambassador to Athens, Wolfgang Hermann Dold.
The meeting focused on the prospects for strengthening Greek-German bilateral cooperation in light of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s recent visit and the new, positive climate in Greek-German relations. Developments in regional issues were also discussed, with emphasis on Southeast Europe and the Middle East, as well as the ongoing cooperation of the two countries on European issues.
