Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos met today with German Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Michael Link.
During the meeting, which took place in a friendly climate, they discussed issues concerning Greek-German bilateral relations, as well as developments on the European level. Particular emphasis was put on the mutual will to deepen bilateral relations on the basis of the strong ties between the two countries in sectors including economy, investments and tourism. They also looked at the potential for coordination between the two sides within the framework of the discussions on institutional changes in the European Union, as well as at cooperation on EU enlargement and external relations issues.
