Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos made the following statement regarding today’s bombing in the center of Beirut:
“We express our abhorrence and unequivocal condemnation of today’s bombing attack in the center of Beirut. Greece stands by its friends the Lebanese people in solidarity at this difficult time, supporting with all its power the stability of Lebanon. We hope for a speedy recovery for those injured in the attack, and we express our condolences to the families of the victims, in the hope that the perpetrators are brought to justice quickly.”
