Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will represent Greece at a Summit Meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), which will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of its founding.The Summit will take place in Istanbul on the evening of the 25th and on the 26th of June, 2012, under the joint chairmanship of Serbia and Turkey.
The Meeting will give the member states the opportunity to assess the Organization’s course so far and to exchange views on the promotion of regional economic cooperation in the wider Black Sea region. While in Istanbul, Foreign Minister Avramopoulos is to meet with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
