Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will carry out an official visit to Bratislava on Thursday, 21 March 2013.
Within the framework of his visit, Mr. Avramopoulos will meet with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and hold bilateral consultations with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák. The two ministers will discuss the latest developments in Europe and the efforts to confront the economic crisis, Greek-Slovak bilateral relations, and regional developments in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. After their talks, they will hold a joint press conference.
On completing his official visit to Slovakia, Mr. Avramopoulos will travel directly to Ireland to participate in the Informal Council of Foreign Ministers (Gymnich) taking place in Dublin on 22 and 23 March 2013.
