Memorandum of Understanding signed by Greece, Italy and Albania on the Trans Adriatic Pipeline

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Greece, Italy and Albania on the Trans Adriatic Pipeline took place in New York City at 17:30 on Thursday, 27 September 2012. In the Memorandum, the three countries express their intention to collaborate on the Trans Adriatic Pipeline plan.

The Memorandum will be signed by the Foreign Ministers of the three countries – D. Avramopoulos, G. Terzi and E Panariti – with the aim of signing a relevant agreement at a later phase, following the relevant preparations and consultations.
