At the award ceremony for the “Dionysios and Georgios Antonopoulos” Excellence Awards, honoring the top students of the Karatoula General Lyceum, the Karatoula Gymnasium, and the Goumero Gymnasium for the 2023–2024 school year.
A nice event, successfully held again this year on the initiative of the Olenis Cultural Association and its President, Konstantinos Antonopoulos. Congratulations are due to the Association and to the schools’ outstanding teachers, whom I sincerely thank for the honorary distinction they bestowed on me.
With the aim of enabling students to visit and become acquainted with the European institutions at their headquarters, I announced to the third-year Gymnasium students that they will be invited next year by the European Parliament to Brussels.
