Participation of Dimitris Avramopoulos in the North Aegean Region’s event in honor of EU Ambassadors, 4/4/2025

 

 

In Mytilene, as keynote speaker at an important event honoring the ambassadors of the EU member states, at the invitation of the Governor of the North Aegean Region, Mr. K. Moutzouris.

In my remarks, I addressed the major challenges facing the Aegean islands—such as migration, regional security, border management, and European migration policy. Cooperation and joint action are essential to tackle these issues and to support the local community.
