We are here at a place, a temple of democracy, to pay tribute to patriotic citizens and of course the courageous members of Parliament who gathered here and sent a strong message of Unity.
I am here on behalf of the EU to convey a message of solidarity to you.
The EU stands with Turkey, its people and its democratically elected institutions.
No violence will ever truly attack or diminish the power of democracy and the free will of its people.
We are here today to commemorate this.
