The Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos met today at the Ministry of National Defence with the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dr. Sultan Al Jaber.
Mr. Avramopoulos and Mr. Al Jaber discussed on matters relative to Greece – UAE defence cooperation, matters of mutual policy, security and defence, as well as matters of mutual interest, concerning the developments in the broader region of the South Eastern Mediterranean.
The Minister of National Defence asked Mr. Al Jaber to extend an invitation to the Vice President and Minister of Defence of the UAE H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to officially visit our country, responding to the invitation extended by Mr. Al Maktoum to Mr. Avramopoulos, to visit the UAE in the near future
